The Test d'évaluation de français (TEF) is an international reference test that measures your level of written and spoken French.
For candidates aiming for permanent residency (PR) in Canada through programs like Express Entry, a minimum French proficiency level of CLB 7 is typically required. CLB 7 corresponds to the B2 level in the CEFR framework. Achieving this level can lead to gaining significant additional points.
To register for the TEF Canada exam, there are no official requirements. Anyone who is at least 16 years old and has a valid passport may register. Nonetheless, because the TEF Canada is offered online, a basic understanding of computers is advised.
To learn French, you should know that there are six levels including elementary (A1 and A2), intermediate (B1 and B2) and advanced (C1 and C2).
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):
Depending on the objectives, we work with you several items such as reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression, and oral expression.

FYI: The form below is not a contract. It simply allows us to have a better understanding of your request, your objectives & the scope of the work which needs to be validated by the TeMeF team. Your registration becomes effective upon receipt of your payment. Thank you very much!
